None. We do not collect, upload, or have access to any personal or business data you enter in the App. Everything stays in the on-device database until you choose to export, share, or delete it.
On-device data
The App stores the following only on your device:
- Invoice and estimate contents (clients, line items, taxes, totals, signatures)
- Client directory entries, including any you import from your contacts
- Catalog items, business profile, logos, and attached photos
- App settings and Pro entitlement cache
Deleting data in the App deletes it from the device database. Uninstalling the App removes the local data (subject to OS behavior).

Denying a permission only disables the feature that needs it. The App has no ads and no analytics SDKs.
Exports, backups, and sharing
Backups (JSON), spreadsheets (CSV), and invoices (PDF) are created at your request and go only where you send them (your files, email, messenger, etc. via the system share sheet). We never see them.
Optional live currency rates
Currency conversion works fully offline with manual rates by default. Only if you explicitly toggle "Use live rates" does the App fetch current rates over HTTPS from open.er-api.com (only the currency code is sent; their privacy policy applies). You can switch back to manual rates at any time, and the App works fully offline without this.
In-app purchases (Pro)
Pro unlocks are sold through the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) and managed via the RevenueCat SDK. Purchase processing is handled by those third parties under their own policies:

We do not receive or store your payment details.
Ratings
The App may show the system store rating prompt (in_app_review). That flow is controlled by Apple/Google; we receive no data from it.
Children
The App is a general business utility, not directed at children under 13. Since all data stays on-device, we knowingly collect no children's data.
Your rights and choices
- Access / correct: open the App — everything is visible there.
- Delete: delete records in the App, or uninstall the App.
- Portability: export JSON backup or CSV at any time from Settings.
- Permissions: revoke contacts/camera/photos access anytime in system Settings.
Regulatory requests (e.g. GDPR/CCPA): email [email protected] — note there is no server-side data for us to retrieve or erase.
Data retention
We retain nothing server-side. On-device data is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Security
Local data benefits from OS-level protections (device encryption, sandboxing, lock screen). No method is 100% secure — protect your device, keep regular JSON backups, and store exports safely.
Data safety declarations (store forms)
- Data collected by the developer: none.
- Data shared with third parties by the developer: none.
- Purchase-related processing by Apple/Google/RevenueCat should be declared per their SDK guidance at submission time.
Changes
Material changes will be posted at chronos-labs.tech/invoicemaker/privacy-policy with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
